Serigrafi ve Filtre
Screen printing meshes are special and technical fabrics used in the screen printing process. These meshes need to have specific properties suitable for screen printing. Simply weaving threads is not sufficient for a good screen printing mesh. A quality mesh needs to undergo necessary surface treatments and coatings, with anti-static properties being preferred.
Screen printing meshes are typically thin, woven fabrics made from synthetic materials such as polyester or nylon. These materials are chosen for their high tensile strength, smooth surface, and ability to provide good print quality.
The screen printing mesh is stretched onto a printing frame and secured with mesh adhesive. Proper tensioning of the mesh fabric prevents undesired deformations, scratches, serrations, or similar issues during the printing process.
Screen printing meshes facilitate the proper transfer of screen printing inks onto the printing surface, allowing for the clear and sharp transfer of the desired design. Additionally, screen printing meshes ensure proper ink flow and distribution, resulting in homogeneous color quality and consistent printing.
Screen printing meshes are durable and designed for long-term use. When used and cleaned properly, screen printing meshes can be reused multiple times.
